About us
We are a group of English and Shetlander adventurers ~ all with specific academic, technical and personal integrated skills including geophysics, IT, marine biology, land and underwater archaeology, history and seafaring.
We are also able to call on the expertise of many academics from several UK universities to supplement our team.
The leaders of the team are Paul Hawkins and Terrence Neilson (the ones with grey hair!!) who are committed to unravelling one of the oldest pirate mysteries, maybe re-writing the history books and telling one of the greatest stories ever to be told.

Our two boats ~  “Ice Maiden” and “Maiden” are both world class ocean going yachts equipped with up to the minute search and survey electronic gadgetry including side scan sonar, magnetometers and sub bottom profiling systems.
